Triumph degree wheel adaptor tool 500 650 750 Cub
This tool lets you easily mount any degree wheel to either side of your Triumph crankshaft. It is a reproduction of the Triumph TriCor tool CD123 as shown in the 1966 catalog.
The tool is designed to separate into two parts, and is threaded to match the rotor stud and thread on to the drive side of the crankshaft. The other side has an allen bolt to clamp it onto the crankshaft oil seal surface without damaging it or removing the pinion nut!
Most Triumphs until 1971 used a 7/16" x 26 TPI stud (p/n 70-3114), and 1972 on used the UNF 7/16" x 20 TPI. Although both tools will allow mounting on the timing side, please select whichever is most common for your application. Pre Unit and early Unit engines would use 26TPI.
This quality tool was made by Coventry Spares, Ltd. in the USA and supply is limited. It is also a perfect way to mount your Johnson Motors, Tri Cor, or Franz and Grubb Engine degree wheel.
