Norton Commando Chromoly steel pushrod set 750 850
STRENGTH AND LIGHT WEIGHT
Steel pushrods don't have to be heavy!
These USA made Chrome Moly steel push rods are assembled with hardened steel ends that are held to exacting radius and surface finish tolerances. They are identical to Kibblewhite's popular alloy tube racing pushrods, only using ChroMoly tubing.
After assembly, the OD of the entire push rod is precision ground to create the strongest pushrod available. Weighing only 44.8 grams (intake) and 40.9 g (exhaust), this is an excellent way to stiffen up your Commando's valvetrain without any compromise in strength, and ensure valve timing accuracy.
Supplied in sets of four. Laser engraved with KPMI and part numbers.
The outside diameter is .371"or 9.42mm, and effective length is 8.150" (end to end) for intake, and 7.300" for exhaust. That is 207mm for intake, and 185.4mm for exhaust.
The intake pushrods replace Norton part number 06-7940
The exhaust pushrods replace Norton part number 06-7941
These are lighter than any other steel pushrods, including SRM and Smith Brothers. Most engine builders will agree that pushrod weight is not as critical as it's strength, and Kibblewhite cromoly pushrods are the choice of top British engine builders worldwide.
